Installation of a passive corrosion protection system for the upstream steel sheet pile wing walls, <br />. Installation of an active corrosion protection system for the S-21 superstructure (above mean water level), <br />. Repair of the concrete Service Platform. This work will include identification of areas of existing concrete <br />to be removed and replaced, the repair or replacement of reinforcing bars, and the repair of cracks in the <br />concrete, based on the corrosion survey. <br />. Replacement of the existing access hatches in the Service Platform with stainless steel access hatches. <br />. Addition of three (3) new 36" x 36" stainless steel hatches in the Service Platform, if shown by analysis to <br />be structurally feasible, <br />. Replacement of the steel angle at the bottom edge of the Service Platform with a stainless steel angle. <br />. Replacement of the Service Platform chain link fence post embedments with stainless steel post <br />embedments, <br />. In-kind replacement of the Service Platform chain link fence with a new galvanized steel chain link fence, <br />. Repair of the concrete Operating Platform, This work will include identification of areas of existing <br />concrete to be removed and replaced, the repair or replacement of reinforcing bars, and the repair of cracks <br />in concrete, based on the corrosion survey, <br />. Replacement of the work lights on the Operating Platform, <br />. Repair of miscellaneous concrete cracks and spalls in the superstructure, <br /> <br />Review the existing control building to withstand wind and wave forces from a 200-year storm. The building floor <br />is below the expected surge flood elevation for this site, and is vulnerable to these forces.
