POINT OF CONTACT TELEPHONE NUMBER <br />954-322-2401 <br /> <br />The firm of Architects International, Inc, was <br />responsible for developing the design criteria for two <br />design-build parking garages with a combined total <br />capacity for approximately 1400 vehicles, located <br />next to the Rhode Building in Miami, Florida, <br /> <br />Having completed the study in 1988, the firm was <br />selected to perform design and construction <br />supervision of this multi-level parking structure which <br />included stairs, pedestrian bridge, elevators, lighting, <br />railings, drainage, waterproofing, striping, life safety <br />system, and all other related work as required to <br />meet the South Florida Building Code, <br /> <br />This was the first design-build project undertaken by <br />the Florida Department of General Services; it <br />resulted in successfully bringing in the cost at <br />$4,500 per car, In addition, the pre-cast concrete <br />structure was built in only ten months. <br /> <br /> <br />25.
