BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF PROJECT AND RELEVANCE TO THIS CONTRACT (Include scope, size, and cost) <br /> <br />The proposed park is located at 1000 NW Spanish River Boulevard in Boca Raton and <br />covers approximately 228 acres in two parcels along NW Spanish River Boulevard. <br />A.DA Engineering, Inc, (ADA) was tasked to assist with the Mechanical, Electrical <br />and Plumbing design of the Phase 1 Master Plan components for the southern parcel <br />to satisfy the City's immediate need for softball/baseball and soccer playing fields, <br />while being environmentally and culturally innovative, <br /> <br />Project Relevance <br /> <br />. MEP Engineering <br />. Utility Coordination <br />. Roadway Lighting <br />. HVAC <br />. Playfields Lighting <br /> <br />ADA is currently providing mechanical, electrical and plumbing services for design of <br />the various site and building components of this project. ADA is designing roadway <br />lighting for the roads within the park as well as the parking areas, The lighting levels will be in accordance with IESNA <br />and the applicable standards of the City of Boca Raton and Palm Beach County, Additionally, ADA is designing <br />appropriate lighting for the bicycle paths and pedestrian walkways. ADA is also designing sports field lighting for the <br />soccer and baseball fields, Due to the close proximity of an active runway at the Boca Raton Airport, coordination with the <br />Federal Aviation Administration will be required to ensure that the height of the poles and proposed lighting on the poles <br />does not interfere with airport operations and incoming / outgoing airborne traffic. The electrical engineer will meet and <br />coordinate with MUSCO lighting, the City's preferred sportsfield lighting manufacturer. <br /> <br />ADA is coordinating the electrical requirements of the press box / concessions / restroom building as well as those of the <br />storage building, Typical systems for these buildings <br />will include receptacles, lighting, and telephone, ADA <br />is assessing the HVAC requirements for each of these <br />buildings and will design HVAC and exhaust systems <br />as needed, ADA is also designing a lightning warning <br />system for protection of the public and park staff, <br />Lightning warning sensors will be provided throughout <br />the park, The system will annunciate a horn and <br />strobe if lightning activity is approaching and/or <br />possibility of a lightning strike is present. <br /> <br />Mechanical/plumbing design includes new restroom <br />facilities, sinks, drains, and outside water coolers at <br />specified locations throughout the park. <br /> <br />ADA is also doing extensive coordination with local <br />utility providers, including Florida Power and Light and <br />Bellsouth, to coordinate the service drop locations and <br />service requirements, <br /> <br /> <br />t <br /> <br />,~~ <br />~ <br /> <br />A <br /> <br />... <br /> <br />25, FIRMS FROM SECTION C INVOLVED WITH THIS PROJECT <br /> <br />(1) Firm Name <br />a.
