<br />Mr. Scharf has 43 years of professional experience, serving both private and public clients.
<br />He has administered architectural design and construction administration services for over
<br />60 million square feet of construction, including office buildings, Emergency Operations
<br />Centers, industrial and educational facilities, hotels, hospitals, banking facilities, recreational
<br />and park buildings, cruise terminals, parking structures and schools.

<br />
<br />Broward County/BCC South Regional Library, Broward County, Florida - Mr. Scharf
<br />together with the Design Team has completed an 11 million dollar project. The new library
<br />was unveiled to the Public in January 2007 and is the first "green" building in Broward
<br />County. It is registered with the US Green Building Council for a LEED silver certification.
<br />
<br />Fire Station and Administration Building, City of Hollywood, Florida - Project
<br />Principal. This 40,000 square foot, 6.5 million dollar facility houses a 4 bay fire station and
<br />central dispatch, a City emergency operations center, PSAP and Fire Department
<br />administrative offices. The building was awarded a "Gold Medal" for station design by Fire
<br />Chief Magazine.

<br />Broward County Emergency Operations Center, Fort Lauderdale, Florida - Project
<br />Principal. In order to consolidate all of the County's disaster relief agencies under one roof,
<br />the County commissioned the firm to design this 40,000 square foot facility, which is a
<br />hardened building with full backup of power and communications to serve as a central
<br />operations center for emergency events.

<br />Broward County Convention Center, Port Everglades, Fort Lauderdale, Florida -
<br />Project Principal responsible for the firms' design of a 30 million dollar, 200,000 square
<br />foot expansion.

<br />Coconut Creek Community Center, Coconut Creek, Florida - Project Principal.
<br />Marvin Scharf was commissioned by the City to provide programming services, facilitate
<br />community participation and design a 36,000 sq. ft. multi-purpose facility, housing a 6-court
<br />multi-function gymnasium, senior lounge and youth meeting rooms, a fitness center,
<br />computer learning center and party roomOs). In addition this site also incorporated a
<br />skateboard park, children's playground, a performance pavilion, boat docks and a dog park.

<br />Pat Larkins Community Center, Pompano Beach, Florida - Architect of Record. Mr.
<br />Scharf served as the Architect of Record for the design of a 12,000 sq. ft., $2.5 million dollar
<br />community center for the northwest area of the City. The building houses a 5,000 sq. ft.
<br />multi-purpose room which includes a full service kitchen and performance space, s well as
<br />smaller meeting rooms and administrative offices.
<br />
<br />Cruise Terminal 21 Expansion - Port Everglades, Fort Lauderdale, Florida - Project
<br />Principal. After completing two previous renovation projects to this building, the client
<br />selected the firm to design a major expansion to accommodate the new 2,500 passenger
<br />cruise ships, scheduled to serve the port.
