<br />Summary Minutes: Regular City Commission Meeting October 14.2010 <br /> <br />City of Sunny Isles Beach. Florida <br /> <br />administratively upon them submitting proper documents, ie. approval from the Association, <br />approval from the Property Appraiser's Office, and that it meets the Codes and Building <br />Regulations. <br /> <br />Public Speakers: None <br /> <br />Mayor Edelcup clarified that this is strictly for two units to be combined into one unit. <br />Anything above two would come back to the Commission. <br /> <br />Vice Mayor Thaler moved and Commissioner Scholl seconded a motion to adopt the <br />ordinance. LP A Resolution No. 2010-64 was adopted by a voice vote of 5-0 in favor. <br /> <br />9C.2 An Ordinance of the City Commission of the City of Sunny Isles Beach, Florida, Amending <br />Section 265-45 ofthe City Code Relating to Construction of Docks; Providing for Repealer; <br />Providing for Severability; Providing for Inclusion in the Code; Providing for an Effective <br />Date. <br /> <br />(First Reading 09/16/1 0) <br /> <br />Action: City Clerk Hines read the title, and Assistant City Manager/Services Vera reported <br />that this Ordinance will enable us to have all the required documentation at one spot for <br />anybody that wants to construct a dock behind their property. Currently our Ordinance reads <br />that they only have to meet Miami-Dade County's Ordinance and any other FDEP issues, and <br />this Ordinance combines everything from those ordinances. He also noted that there is <br />additional documentation in the ordinance which includes the widths of the canals. <br /> <br />Public Speakers: None <br /> <br />Mayor Edelcup asked if our Ordinance is no more restrictive than what the others are, and Mr. <br />Vera said no, it is basically the same format that we have been following from the County. <br />Mayor Edelcup asked about existing docks, and Mr. Vera said they are grandfathered in. <br /> <br />S <br />
