<br />then the CONTRACTOR may require that a change in the Work be issued to adjust the Contract <br />Time and the Guaranteed Maximum Price by the difference between the bid of the person or entity <br />recommended to the CITY by the CONTRACTOR and the amount of the subcontract or other <br />agreement actually signed with the person or entity designated by the owner. <br /> <br />6.3.3 The CONTRACTOR shall schedule and conduct weekly meetings at which <br />the CITY and CONTRACTOR, and appropriate Subcontractors can discuss the status of the Work. <br />The CONTRACTOR shall prepare and promptly distribute meeting minutes. <br /> <br />6.3.4 The CONTRACTOR shall provide monthly written reports to the CITY and <br />designated consultants on the progress of the entire Work. The CONTRACTOR shall maintain a <br />daily log containing a record of weather, Subcontractors working on the site, number of workers, <br />Work accomplished, problems encountered, and other similar relevant data as the CITY designated <br />consultants may reasonably require. The log shall be available to the CITY and designated <br />consultants at any time during the business hours of 8:00 a.m. - 5 :00 p.m. Monday through Friday. <br /> <br />6.3.5 The CONTRACTOR shall develop a system of cost control for the Work, <br />including regular monitoring of actual costs for activities in progress and estimates for uncompleted <br />tasks and proposed changes. <br /> <br />6.4 <br /> <br />Design Responsibilities: <br /> <br />6.4.1 CONTRACTOR shall determine the general scope, extent and character of <br />the Work. CONTRACTOR shall prepare preliminary design documents consisting of preliminary <br />drawings, specifications and other documents to fix and describe the size, quality and characters of <br />the work, its architectural, structural, mechanical and electrical systems and the materials and other <br />elements of the work. CONTRACTOR shall submit the preliminary design documents to CITY for <br />review and authorization to proceed with the final design preparation. Upon written authorization <br />from CITY to proceed with the final design, CONTRACTOR shall prepare final drawings, plans, <br />schedules, specifications, technical criteria, written descriptions, design data, construction <br />documents and diagrams setting forth in detail the requirements for construction of the work and <br />submit the same to CITY for approval by the City Commission prior to commencing construction <br />of the Work; upon approval the same shall become part of the Contract Documents, and shall <br />supersede the preliminary Drawings and Specifications. All final design documents, plans, reports, <br />studies and other data prepared by CONTRACTOR shall bear the endorsement of a person duly <br />registered in the appropriate professional category. <br /> <br />6.4.2 After CITY'S acceptance of the final design documents, the original set of <br />CONTRACTOR'S drawings and specifications shall be provided to CITY along with three (3) <br />record sets and three (3) working sets of full size prints (including specifications). CONTRACTOR <br />shall signifY, by affixing an endorsement (seal/signature, as appropriate) on every sheet of the <br />record set, that the Work shown on the endorsed sheets was produced by CONTRACTOR. With <br />the record set of prints, CONTRACTOR shall submit a final set of design computations. The <br />computations shall be bound in an 8 1/2" by 11" format and shall be endorsed (seal/signature as <br />appropriate) by CONTRACTOR. <br /> <br />9 <br />
