Among other changes, such <br />would provide that the first day from an event which is to <br />start the running of the period would not be counted. <br />1 -6 (Amendments to Code) amendatory language): We suggest <br />revising this section providing a procedure for amendments to <br />the code and related matters, reading as follows. Do so? <br />"(a) All ordinances adopted subsequent to this Code <br />that amend, repeal or in any way affect this Code may <br />be numbered in accordance with the numbering <br />system of the Code and printed for inclusion in the <br />Code. Portions of this Code repealed by subsequent <br />ordinances may be excluded from this Code by <br />omission from reprinted pages affected thereby. <br />(b) Amendments to provisions of this Code may be <br />made with the following language: "Section (chapter, <br />article, division or subdivision, as appropriate) of the <br />Municipal Code of the City of Palatka is hereby <br />amended to read as follows:...." <br />(c) If a new section, subdivision, division, article or <br />chapter is to be added to the Code, the following <br />language may be used: "Section (chapter, article, <br />division or subdivision, as appropriate) of the <br />Municipal Code of the City of Palatka is hereby <br />created to read as follows:...." <br />7 <br />
