<br />Dean Newberry, as head of the firm's interior design ef-

<br />City of Sunny Isles Beach Government Center,
<br />Sunny Isles Beach, FL. A new eight -story 85,000 SF
<br />government complex inclusive of city hall, commis-
<br />sion chambers, police facility, and a public library. A
<br />new public waterfront park will also be developed along
<br />the western edge of the city hall complex
<br />Cape Coral City Hall Complex, Cape Coral, FL. A
<br />91,000 SF, 2 -story civic building masterplanned ad-
<br />jacent to the existing facility. The building includes a
<br />250 -seat City Council chamber and auditorium, Mayor's
<br />office, City Clerk, City Attorney and City Manager of-
<br />fices, community development and other related city
<br />functions. The facility also is master planned to in-
<br />clude a 350 -car garage for staff and visitors in a sub-
<br />sequent phase.
<br />Key Biscayne Government Center, Key Biscayne,
<br />FL. A new City Hall; Police Headquarters and public
<br />Parking Garage. The projectwas master planned and
<br />designed as a low scale campus environment open
<br />and accessible to all citizens. The center is located
<br />adjacent to the Village's main public park. A Fire Sta-
<br />tion and Community Center (designed by others) were
<br />additional components of the Government Center cam-
<br />pus.
<br />Deltona City Hall, Deltona, Florida. new 45,000 SF
<br />City Hall building. This new facility will accommo-
<br />date all municipal functions including constitutional
<br />officers, administration, Growth Management, Public
<br />Works, "One Stop Permitting Service Center" and 150 -
<br />seat multipurpose Commission Chamber.
<br />Juno Beach City Hall, Juno Beach, FL. Master plan-
<br />ning, architecture, engineering and interior design ser-
<br />vices fora multipurpose city government facility which
<br />includes City Hall, administration offices, and the City's
<br />main police station.

<br />A 78,000 SF facility designed to meet the Police
<br />Department's current and future requirements. The
<br />facility responds to the city's key issues of efficiency
<br />of operation, flexibility and complementing the city's
<br />architecture and environment.
<br />O Palm Beach County Judicial Complex, West
<br />Palm Beach, FL. Program and Interior architecture
<br />for this new 326,527 SF Judicial Complex houses
<br />County Judicial Agencies. The overall complex is
<br />comprised of the courthouse tower building and pub-
<br />lic defender's building, as well as administrative space
<br />for all other departments. Work was divided into two
<br />phases where the first phase includes program re-
<br />view, space planning, engineering and interior con-
<br />tract documents for all administrative offices for both
<br />County and State. The second phase is comprised
<br />of occupancy planning for approximately 334,513 SF.
<br />O Albert V. Bryan United States Courthouse, Alex-
<br />andria, VA. This 515,000 SF courthouse design in-
<br />volved a collaborative effort from federal, historic plan-
<br />ning, judicial, civic and community groups. The 255 -
<br />foot, ten -story building is flanked by two wings of five
<br />and three stories respectively, and includes 15 court-
<br />rooms, the U.S. Attorney's offices, the U.S. Marshal's
<br />offices, the magistrates, support space and 500 -car
<br />secure below -grade parking. The design exhibits
<br />state -of- the -art security, technological flexibility and
<br />separate circulation for the public, judges and de-
<br />tainees. This project has received several awards
<br />and has been widely published.
