City Future Use Throughout the 70 year history of the firm, Spillis Candela DMJM (SCDMJM) has been involved with a significant number of projects which have required site selection services. SCDMJM has provided site analysis and selection services for public sector clients throughout the State of Florida and the United States. Should further site anlysis be required, our project team is pre- pared to assist the City of Sunny Isles Beach in evaluating sites for the proposed City Hall. During the course of this contract, we also rec- ognize that there is the potential for other build- ing components to be included or added at a later date. We know that the primary users of this building will be the City Hall administrative component and the Police Headquarters. We are confident these two users can be comfort- ably integrated within this facility. We are cognintent of, however, that during the previ- ous Government Center design process, the City entertained the idea of including other compo- nents such as a public library branch, and a Post Office and a community center within the com- plex. We are preepared to enter into a contract with the City that would allow us to continue on through an "Additional Services" contract to in- corporate any and all of these facility needs. We anticipate that the new City Hall could be de- signed to be expanded to include a future library branch, an addition to the parking garage, or similar expansion /addition projects. Another possiblity is thatthe City would need design ser- vices for a new building such as, a Community Center, Park Pavilion, Branch Library or other such facilities on a site other than the City Hall. Spillis Candela DMJM is capable of assisting the City of Sunny Isles Beach in all of these poten- tial scenarios.
