Task 5: Cost Estimates <br />Cost estimates for the proposed landscaping and irrigation improvements will be <br />prepared and submitted during the 50% and 100% submittals. <br />Task 6: Bidding Assistance / Contract Administration <br />Upon completion of the construction documents the project AutoCad files can be <br />provided to the City in a variety of formats. These formats include email, <br />diskette, or CD. MLA's full service CADD production staff will provide the files to <br />the City in the desired format. <br />MLA will then assist City staff in bidding the streetscape enhancement work and <br />in the preparation, negotiation, and execution of contracts for the work on the <br />project. <br />Task 7: Construction Phase Services <br />Preconstruction — MLA will attend preconstruction conferences, review material <br />shop drawings, and assist contractor prior to commencement of construction. <br />Construction Observation Services — MLA's Construction Services <br />Department has assisted numerous municipalities in the maintaining of roadway <br />enhancement projects. These services have helped the owner maintain the <br />established construction schedule and budget by proactively addressing issues <br />as they are experienced in the field. <br />Monthly Progress Meeting — MLA and City staff will attend monthly progress <br />meetings to review completed construction and contractor's pay requests. <br />Statements of Work Completion — Upon completion of construction, MLA will <br />provide a statement of work completion, and review of "as- built" drawings <br />submitted by the Contractor. <br />
