PROJECT APPROACH QUALITY CONTROL & ADHERENCE: We will assure that mock -ups, lab testing, and checklists are completed prior to ordering and installing materials. We will facilitate a punch -list for each trade immediately following the installation of work at each phase of the project. When work is not performed up to the expected standards, we will assign a value for the poor quality of work and hold back the monthly draw of that specific trade contractor until the work is corrected. MANAGEMENT OF,JOBSITE SAFETY & SECURITY: Our firm takes safety seriously and treats it as our number one priority. It is not just the objective on the job site, but the common goal shared by everyone who works here. In 1996, we instituted ZIP, or "Zero Injury Process" to eliminate injuries and down time, as well as increase productivity. As a result of ZIP, our firm has one of the lowest injury rates in the country. Our lost time incidents are half the national average. By raising awareness among our employees and carefully managing our safety program, we have been able to reduce our workers compensation costs from $1 million a year to less than $75,000 a year. For our Clients, this means lower overhead costs in terms of insurance premiums and improved efficiency during construction. Our safety program will be implemented and monitored by our full -time Regional Safety Manager, whose duties will include: • Establishing initial safety and security rules and parameters and communicating them with our field staff, Subcontractors, etc. • Ensuring that the requirements of the agreed security and safety plans are incorporated into the contract documents of our Subcontracts and Suppliers. • Coordinating Subcontractors and Suppliers efforts to comply with plans during construction, confirming that their programs are in place and being implemented. • Regulary attending the job site for spot checks and conformance by all parties.
