Perform the calibration of <br />computer models based on flow testing. Analyzed numerous <br />scenarios for alternative water system improvements. <br />Water Surface Profiling <br />Perform open channel hydraulic analyses, water surface profiling <br />and floodway determinations using Army Corps methodologies. <br />Projects included bridge crossing in natural stream corridor, re- <br />alignment of FEMA regulatory floodway for siting a wastewater <br />treatment plant, and channel encroachment analyses for develop- <br />ment of urban pedestrian promenade along flood control channel. <br />Sanitary Sewer Systems <br />Responsible for the planning, design and permitting of numerous <br />sanitary sewer projects including gravity mains, lift stations and <br />force mains for municipalities as well as on -site sewage treatment <br />and disposal systems for commercial developments. <br />Stormwater Management <br />Development of stormwater management plans for the permitting of <br />numerous commercial and institutional land development projects. <br />Perform runoff analyses and routing calculations using various <br />hydrologic and flood routing methodologies and computer grams. <br />Design stormwater facilities for quality treatment and flood control. <br />Produced stormwater pollution prevention plans to comply with <br />federal and local regulations. <br />Roadway Systems <br />Perform engineering design for new and rehabilitated rural and <br />urban roadways. Develop horizontal alignments, vertical profiles, <br />cross - sections and intersection layout. Perform earthwork calcula- <br />tion. Design of pavement marking and traffic control signage. <br />Land Development <br />Develop site plans for commercial and institutional land develop- <br />ment projects in accordance with local zoning and land use regula- <br />tions. Produce grading plans and design site improvements, <br />utilities and drainage facilities. Coordinate utility extensions and <br />services with municipalities and utility companies. Perform earth- <br />work calculations.
