16. <br />The Contractor will turn in certified "Maintenance of Traffic Device" rental invoices or <br />other approved documentation along with his monthly Project estimates. This monthly <br />invoice shall pertain to pay item number 102.1 Such price and payment shall constitute <br />full compensation for furnishing (including hardware, lights and posts if required), <br />installing, relocating, maintaining, and removing Maintenance of Traffic Devices. <br />Payment will be made under the following item(s), as applicable: <br />ITEM NO. DESCRIPTION <br />102 -70 -11 <br />Concrete Barrier (Temporary) <br />102 -74 -1 <br />Barricades (Temporary Type 1 and 11) <br />102 -74 -2 <br />Barricades (Temporary Type 111) <br />102 -60 <br />Work Zones Signs (Temporary) <br />102 -77 <br />High Intensity Flashing Lights <br />UNIT <br />L.F. <br />EA/DAY <br />EA/DAY <br />EA /DAY <br />EA /DAY (Temporary—Type B) <br />Note: Type "B" Low Intensity Flashing Warning Lights are to be provided and attached to <br />the barriers, signs and barricades, as required and recommended in the latest edition of <br />(ANSI D6.le- 1989). The cost of these lights shall be included in the price bid for the <br />barriers, signs, and barricades, as applicable. At the City request additional Traffic Control <br />Devises may be added during construction. Payment shall be as per pay time 102 -1. <br />Clearing and Grubbing: <br />The contract unit price bid as indicated in the Bid Form of the Proposal shall be full <br />compensation for all work required for Clearing and Grubbing; including, but not limited <br />to, removal of asphalt pavement, tree removal, trash, debris, tree trimming, cleaning and <br />plugging of existing drainage system left in place within the entire length of the project. <br />Special Provisions Page 6 of 6 <br />
