F1 <br />i <br />7 <br />SECTION 01570 <br />TRAFFIC REGULATION <br />PART 1 -GENERAL <br />1.01 DESCRIPTION: The Work to be performed under this section shall include <br />furnishing all materials and labor necessary to regulate vehicular and <br />pedestrian traffic. <br />1.02 APPLICABLE CODES, STANDARDS AND SPECIFICATIONS: The Work under <br />this Contract shall be in strict accordance with the following codes and <br />standards. <br />A. Local, county and municipal codes. <br />B. Florida Department of Transportation Specifications (DOT) <br />PART 2 - PRODUCTS (Not Applicable) <br />PART 3 - EXECUTION <br />3.01 TRAFFIC AND VEHICULAR ACCESS: <br />A. Emergency Vehicles: No multi - family residence, apartment, <br />commercial building or place of employment shall be without access to <br />emergency vehicles. The Contractor shall notify in writing the <br />Engineer, the police, fire, and other emergency departments and <br />agencies when and where work is to be accomplished that will affect <br />their normal operations at least two days in advance of such work. <br />3.02 CONSTRUCTION IN STATE HIGHWAY RIGHT -OF -WAY: Construction within <br />all State highway right -of -way shall be made in full compliance with all <br />requirements and to the satisfaction of the Florida Department of <br />Transportation. All necessary barricades, detours, lights and other protective <br />measures shall be provided for the protection of both pedestrian and <br />vehicular traffic. <br />3.03 CONSTRUCTION IN OTHER THAN STATE HIGHWAY RIGHT -OF -WAY: <br />Construction within right -of -way other than State highway shall be made in <br />full compliance with all requirements of the Florida Department of <br />Transportation and to the satisfaction of the local governing bodies.
