SECTION 02513 <br />ASPHALTIC CONCRETE PAVING <br />PART 1 -GENERAL <br />1.01 SCOPE OF WORK <br />A. Furnish all labor, materials, equipment and incidentals required and <br />place asphaltic concrete pavement in accordance with the grades and <br />typical sections shown on the Drawings and as specified herein. <br />1.02 RELATED WORK <br />A. Clearing, grubbing and stripping are specified in Section 02100 and in <br />Section 02221. <br />1.03 SUBMITTALS <br />A. Submit shop drawings as specified in Section 01340. <br />PART 2 - PRODUCTS <br />2.01 MATERIALS <br />A. The limerock base shall consist of grade No. 2 Miami Oolite limerock <br />as specified by section 911 of the Florida Department of <br />Transportation Standard Specifications. <br />B. The material used for the prime coat shall conform to the Florida <br />Department of Transportation Specifications for primer to be used on <br />Miami Oolite limerock base. <br />C. Bituminous material for tack coat shall meet the standard <br />specifications of the Florida Department of Transportation for the <br />grade used and may be any suitable grade of R.C. <br />D. The materials of the asphaltic concrete surface, and truing and leveling <br />shall conform with applicable sections of Florida Department of <br />Transportation Specifications for Type S -3 Asphaltic Concrete Surface <br />Course. <br />07103 02513 -1 03- 4138.A <br />
