3.1 1 <br />/Fa <br />5. Protect planting areas and plants against trespassing and <br />damage of any kind for the duration of the maintenance period. <br />6. Insect plants at least once a week and perform maintenance <br />promptly. Replace impaired or dead plants promptly. Do not wait <br />until near the end of the guarantee period to make replacements <br />of plants which have become unacceptable. <br />7. Remove soil ridges from around watering basins prior to end of <br />maintenance period, as directed by the Landscape Architect. <br />Watering: Water when soil moisture is below optimum level for best <br />plant growth. <br />CLEANING <br />Fill all pits /depressions in holding area and rough grade to meet <br />surrounding elevations. Remove any organic or other debris resulting <br />from the plant relocation process. <br />Sweep and wash all paved surfaces. <br />Remove planting debris from project site and holding area. <br />Remove soil conditioners, soil mixes, gravel, etc. from project site and <br />holding area. <br />END OF SECTION <br />07/03 02490 -12 03- 4138.A <br />
