The Project Mobilization <br />1. The project mobilization item shall be administered in accordance <br />with the Florida Department of Transportation, Standard <br />Specifications for Road & Bridge Construction (latest edition); <br />MOBILIZATION. <br />2. The maximum amount allowed for the mobilization and <br />demobilization item shall be five (5) percent of the total contract <br />amount. <br />3. Mobilization includes, but is not limited to, mobilization of <br />equipment, all surveying, all supervision, cost of all bonds and <br />warranties, all permit fees, all insurance and demobilization. <br /> <br />3.02 PROTECTION <br /> <br />A. Where pavement, trees, shrubbery, fences or other property or surface <br />structures not designated as pay items, have been damaged, removed or <br />disturbed by the Contractor, whether deliberately or through failure to <br />carry out the requirements of the Contract Documents, state laws, <br />municipal ordinances or the specific direction of the Engineer, or through <br />failure to employ usual and reasonable safeguards, such property and <br />surface structures shall be replaced or repaired at the expense of the <br />Contractor to a condition equal to that before work began within a time <br />frame approved by the Engineer. <br /> <br />END OF SECTION <br /> <br />07/04 <br /> <br />01025-5 <br /> <br />03-4174 <br />
