TRAINING PROCEDURES: <br />• <br />• Read and discuss with employees <br />CONDUCT <br />Horseplay, practical joking, fighting, gambling, consuming alcoholic beverages or drugs; <br />possessing a firearm or other weapon will not be tolerated and will subject those involved to <br />disciplinary action and /or dismissal. <br />DRUGS AND ALCOHOL IN THE WORKPLACE <br />• Employees are expected and required to report to work on time in appropriate mental <br />and physical condition for work. It is our intent and obligation to provide a drug -free, <br />healthful, safe, and secure work environment. <br />• Entry upon CSI premises or being at work with drug paraphernalia or under the influence <br />of alocohol, drugs, or controlled substances, will result in immediate suspension of <br />employment, without pay, followed by an investigation of the incident and, if <br />• appropriate, termination of employment. "Under the influence" is defined as being unable <br />to perform work in a safe and productive manner, being in physical or mental condition, <br />which creates a risk to the safety and well -being of the individual, other employees, the <br />public, or CSI property. <br />The unlawful manufacture, distribution, possession, or use of a controlled substance on <br />CSI premises or while conducting CSI business off Comapny premises is absolutely <br />prohibited. Violations of this policy will result in disciplinary action, up to and <br />including termination. <br />• CSI recognizes substance dependancy as an illness and a major health problem. CSI also <br />recognizes abuse as a potential health, safety, and security problem. <br />• Employees needing help in dealing with such problems are encouraged to confer with <br />management. <br />Employees must, as a condition of employment, abide by the terms of the above policy <br />and report any conviction under a criminal drug statue for violations occurring on or off <br />CSI premises while conducting CSI business. <br />• A report of a conviction must be made within five (5) days after the conviction. (This <br />requirement is mandated for federal contractors by the Drug -Free Work Place Act of <br />1988.) <br />21 <br />
