Assist with ongoing program and procedures <br />development, and identification of new projects <br />North Beach Development Corporation <br />Executive Director <br />Managed all activities and programs of a community development corporation <br />working to revitalize, and promote the North Beach area of Miami Beach. <br />Managed all aspects of CDC operations, funding, and governance by a 30 <br />member Board of Directors. <br />Administered a CDBG- funded commercial revitalization program enabling the <br />renovation of 20 key properties representing over $4 million of investment. <br />Managed grant application, award, reporting, and regulation compliance; <br />oversaw individual project design and construction. <br />Served as a community advocate and liaison for a comprehensive multi -year <br />capital improvement effort. Represented community interests, promoted <br />coordination and mitigation efforts during a 3 year $20 million commercial <br />corridor streetscape improvement project. Obtained CDBG funding, developed <br />design consensus, and monitored construction of several million - dollar plus <br />residential streetscape /infrastructure projects.
