41efou/w Celyerl&w Pbmelg
Laude iii, FL
Description
Carter & Burgess was hired by the developer of this unique
property to prepare landscape and hardscape designs
and to establish a theme for the new community. The
project is situated in one of Central Broward's minority
cities and was a former industrial site that provided
telecommunications services worldwide. The County
recently purchased a 100 -acre former commercial site
south of the 'Georgetown' site and has progressed
with plans for a new regional park serving the unique
recreational needs of this area's Caribbean residents. The
owner and developer of the site with the cooperation of
the City have sought a land use amendment for the site
to allow for multi - family residential development. Carter
& Burgess is designing features, such as an extended entry
sequence and landscaping with a strong style, which
will set the appropriate theme for this new community.
In 2005, plans were completed and the project is
working through the City and County approvals process.
Development will commence in 2006 with homes being
built for more than 600 new Lauderhill residents in this
gracefully redeveloping
city.
Services
Entrance Feature
Design
Landscape
Architecture
