Under this contract, Carter & Burgess provided for the park <br />planning and design of six park sites and four gateway structures <br />Florida Uniform <br />in Flagler County and the City of Flagler Beach. In addition, staff <br />Building Code <br />developed a cohesive interpretive program for the byway that <br />Training, <br />prioritizes the potential interpretive sites for the corridor in light of the <br />American Society of <br />So <br />corridor's vision, site location, accessibility, property ownership, and the <br />Landscape Architects <br />feasibility that it can be constructed; as well as establish the type of <br />information and graphics needed for each interpretive site. Also part of <br />Professional <br />this project, Carter & Burgess staff assisted the County with the creation <br />Registration <br />of an Overlay Zoning District and Design Guidelines Handbook. <br />Registered <br />City of Oakland Park, Dog Park, Oakland Park, FL; Landscape Architect. <br />Carter & Burgess was commissioned to develop, design, <br />Landscape Architect, <br />2001, FL, LA0001156 <br />and permit <br />plans for the City's first dog park, located on a 2.5 -acre abandoned <br />Police & Sheriff's training site. Carter & Burgess provided complete <br />Organizations <br />professional services for the project including design and construction <br />documents for two large <br />Urban Land Institute <br />(ULI) <br />and separate canine fitness courses with <br />18 exercise stations, new parking and lighting, picnic shelters, an <br />office management kiosk, a pet wash -down station, as well as unique <br />American Planning <br />signage, fencing, and access control features to insure safe and friendly <br />Association (APA) <br />operations. The project commenced construction in 2005, and will be <br />completed in 2006. <br />City of Oakland Park, Royal Palm Park, Oakland Park, FL; Landscape <br />Architect. The existing Royal Palm Park, which is over 30 acres and more <br />than 20 years old, was scheduled for modernization and additions, <br />through some significant Florida FRDAP grant awards.
