Ere-H A/eWj &1-4 <br />continued <br />services. Plans for new facilities included restrooms, pedestrian and <br />fitness trails, and a fishing pier. The expansive list of improvements <br />included resurfacing for basketball, volleyball, and bocce courts; a <br />parking area expansion and resurfacing; new roofing for existing picnic <br />shelters; and playground surface safety and handicap upgrades. The <br />project commenced construction in 2005, and will be completed in <br />2006. <br />1 -95 at Oakland Park Boulevard Master Landscape Plan, Oakland Park, <br />FL; Project Manager. The City of Oakland Park, with the City of Wilton <br />Manors, has commissioned Carter & Burgess to prepare conceptual <br />plans for the interchange of Oakland Park Boulevard and 1 -95 in central <br />Broward County. This interchange serves as a 'Gateway' to both Cities, <br />and is being cooperatively funded by FDOT under their own 'Greening <br />Gateways' initiative. The interchange covers over 50 acres, and carries <br />some of the highest daily traffic volumes in South Florida. <br />
