Memorial Regional Hospital Ambulatory Expansion Site Design, Hollywood, Florida. As the hospital facility <br />expands and updates their grounds, they sought out the expertise of CGA to design a character landscape for their <br />new ambulatory expansions. Mr. Feoli, as project manager, worked with external architectural subconsultants, to <br />devise a character design to be the 'new face' of the hospital along one of the City's main thoroughfares. Mr. Feoli's <br />creative solution both provided the simplicity of design that mediated between the hospital's new 'modern' fapade <br />and their world -known Joe Di Maggio Children's Hospital. In successfully completing the project, Mr. Feoli worked <br />closely with the City of Hollywood's Arborist, MGE subconsultant Architects, and the hospital's Department of <br />Construction. <br />' Gateway Park Conceptual Master Plan, Weston, Florida. Mr. Feoli was the originator and creator of the <br />concept that is presently driving the fund - allocation for Gateway Park in Weston. Mr. Feoli saw an opportunity to <br />create an entry feature park as a gateway into the City of Weston, recognizing that the residents of Weston have great <br />appreciation for the branded quality of their public spaces. Mr. Feoli master - planned the project up to the conceptual <br />' stage. Presently, he and the CGA team are raising monies to bring the project into reality for the City, through grants <br />applications to several governmental agencies. <br />' Vista Park, Weston, Florida. Mr. Feoli, as the de facto project manager, led the CGA team from the master <br />planning phase through to the delivery and preparation of construction and bid documents for this $4.5 million dollar <br />40 -acre recreational park. Mr. Feoli effectively coordinated all work between surveyors, civil engineers, and oversaw <br />' all resolutions of issues affected by municipal and governmental agencies, as well as neighboring residential <br />community homeowner's associations. In the design, Mr. Feoli was able to imbue the park's character, through the <br />careful selection of materials and plants, with a `sense' of Weston. <br />' Gilda's Club, Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The project consists of the master planning of a 1 -acre property for <br />Gilda's Club, a cancer support center, in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The property, though small, was master planned to <br />accommodate elements such as: party terrace; multi -use lawns for outdoor classes on yoga, painting, and <br />' meditation; water features; terraced amphitheatre; butterfly gardens; and children's play area - all in a garden setting. <br />Mr. Feoli organized, conducted and mediated 3 different design charrettes with the Board of Directors, users, staff, <br />and community members. He then translated the inputs of the charrettes into a single design that successfully <br />' appealed to all the parties involved and that met the necessary programmatic requirements of the Club. <br />Miramar Tree Presentation, Miramar, Florida - Award Recipient. Mr. Feoli was responsible for the <br />production of two award - winning PowerPoint productions aimed at educating both City staff and Home Owners <br />' Associations on the proper ways to conduct pruning. The mission of the presentation entailed describing the proper <br />pruning process; illustrating with animation the effects hurricane and storm winds have on the results of differing <br />pruning methods; preparing explanatory literature to accompany the presentation; elucidating the roles of the City, <br />' Home Owners Associations, and Home Owners in relation to tree care and maintenance; and enhancing the viewers <br />understanding on the reasons why proper pruning is crucial in the preparedness and prevention of hazards caused <br />by natural disasters. <br />' Urban Redevelopment Proposal of the 79th Street & Little River, Miami, Florida. Recipient of an Award of <br />Excellence (first prize in the Landscape /Urban Design category) for urban design proposal for the Urban <br />Redevelopment of the 79th Street corridor between the Little River and Biscayne Boulevard in Miami. The design <br />' proposal focused on establishing walkable, community- oriented social centers with a mixed -use zoning overlay <br />district and an agenda to preserve the urban styles of the Miami Moderne (MiMo) architectural vocabulary and <br />characteristics. <br />' Florida East Coast Railway (FEC) Streetscape Assessment, Miami, Florida. Prepared the FEC Streetscape <br />Assessment for the FEC Corridor Strategic Redevelopment Plan for the City of Miami. His participation assisted the <br />task force's mission to identify and facilitate redevelopment opportunities within the corridor. This included <br />' stimulating and safeguarding existing zoning and land uses, ensuring compatible land use buffers, improving <br />transportation accessibility, and enhancing employment opportunities for city residents. The study focused on the <br />overall economic impact on the City within the context of creating and preserving a livable community. <br />
