CGA has extensive experience in South Florida serving as consulting or staff engineers to municipalities in <br />Monroe, Miami -Dade, Broward, Palm Beach and St. Lucie Counties. Our experience spans both the public <br />and private sector and often we are the coordinating entity between the municipalities or counties, and other <br />agencies such as FDOT. Our relationships with local, state, and even federal regulatory agencies make the <br />permitting processes easier for clients. <br />Landscape Architecture <br />' The firm began as a surveying company and soon added civil engineering, <br />construction management, and planning. In 1998, Landscape Architecture was in 2003 <br />added with an associated environmental specialty group to handle permitting alone,.CGA's. <br />and mitigation. Since then, the Landscape Architecture group has grown to 14 n'dsCape <br />employees and the three registered landscape architects have almost 60 years ArChltlre Group <br />of collective professional experience. The group has been able to successfully complete less traditional <br />tasks such as applying for and obtaining grants to fund their landscaping projects: Weston was the beneficiary <br />of two separate $50,000 grants for roadside landscaping and Dania Beach received a grant for $50,000 for <br />landscaping for median improvements. <br />The group has consistently completed at least 15 projects per year since 1998 and in 2003 alone won five <br />awards: <br />♦ FNGA Landscape Award of Excellence for Charles F.
