' SCOPE OF SERVICES <br />The RMPK Group - Pg 5 <br />11.2 Site Observation <br />Consultant shall make visits to the project site at intervals appropriate to various stages of construction of the project in <br />order to observe the progress and the quality of the executed work, and shall report findings to the City. <br />Consultant shall issue instructions from the City to the Contractor(s) for construction of the project, issue necessary interpretations and <br />clarifications of Contract Documents, review required change orders, required special instructions and testing of the work, and make <br />decisions as to the acceptability of the construction work. <br />Consultant shall attend scheduled project construction meetings and prepare minutes and address issues raised by the <br />Contractor. <br />Consultant shall determine amounts of progress payments due, based upon completion of the construction of the <br />project, and recommend issuance of such payments by the City. <br />Initial operation of the project and /or performance tests required by the specifications shall be observed by the <br />Consultant. <br />Consultant shall make a final inspection and report on completion of the project, including recommendations concerning final payments to <br />Contractors and release of retained percentages, if any. <br />TASK 12.0 Contract Closure <br />12.1 Record Drawings <br />The Consultant shall review a set of reproducible record prints of drawings showing changes made during the <br />construction process, based upon the marked up prints, drawings and other data furnished by Contractor(s) to <br />City and which the Consultant considers significant. <br />12.2 Final Punch List <br />The Consultant, along with City staff, shall visit the Project site once to observe and determine whether any apparent defects exist in the <br />completed construction. The Consultant shall assist City in consultations and discussions with Contractor(s) concerning correction of such <br />deficiencies, and make recommendations as to replacement or correction of defective work. <br />23 <br />
