SCOPE OF SERVICES <br />The RMPK Group - Pg 4 <br />Details <br />Engineer shall prepare details necessary for the proper construction and installation of the project. Details to be in <br />conformance with City Utilities and Florida Department of Transportation requirements. <br />Cost Estimates <br />Engineer shall prepare quantity take -offs and preparation of cost estimates for the above proposed civil engineering <br />aspects of the project for the City's use and for construction bidding purposes. The quantity take -offs and associated <br />cost estimates will be prepared by engineer; one at design development drawing submittal (30 %) and one at 90% <br />construction drawing submittal. <br />Specifications <br />The engineer will prepare technical specifications for the above proposed civil engineering aspects of the project. The <br />Florida DOT specifications will be utilized as the main technical specification. These specifications will be supplemented, <br />as necessary, with special provisions. The consultant will use the Standard Forms of Agreement as prepared by the <br />engineer's Joint Contract Documents Committee or other forms provided by the County for the construction documents. <br />8.5 Planning <br />The consultant shall prepare submittal documents for City construction plan review by City Building, Community <br />' Development Department, and Planning Division, and make necessary changes for final compliance and acceptance by <br />same. The consultant shall coordinate meetings with City Recreation and Parks's staff and City Building and Community <br />Development Departments and for review of construction plans at 30 %, 90 %, and 100% completion. <br />TASK 9.0 Permitting Services <br />9.1 The Consultant shall submit all information, conduct field review, perform environmental jurisdictional <br />sign -offs, and take all other necessary actions to obtain permits from regulatory agencies having jurisdiction <br />over the project, including, but not limited to, the following: <br />• Southwest Florida Water Management District <br />• County Planning Division <br />County Community Development Department <br />TASK 10.0 Bidding Services <br />10.1 The Consultant shall attend pre -bid meeting chaired by the City purchasing department. Consultant will respond to <br />bidders' questions during the bidding process, and issue bid addenda and clarification sketches as required. Consultant <br />will review all bidders' submissions; and assist the City in the evaluation and award of the bids. <br />TASK 11.0 Construction Administration <br />11.1 Construction Consultation and Coordination <br />Consultant shall attend one (1) preconstruction meeting, consult with and advise the City during construction of the <br />project, prepare supplementary sketches required to resolve problems due to actual field conditions encountered, and <br />review and approve detailed construction shop drawings submitted by the construction contractor(s) for compliance with <br />design concepts. Consultant shall review and approve test reports on materials and equipment. <br />22 <br />
