� I <br />PART 1 - GENERAL REQUIREMENTS <br />1.01 General <br />Provide signage in accordance with requirements of the Contract Documents. <br />Fabricator must perform as required by contract, coordinate all work and meet all <br />schedules. Fabricator representative required to coordinate all scheduling with <br />Client. Fabricator is expected to cooperate fully with the Client and Designer to <br />expedite, facilitate the prompt and accurate completion /delivery of the signage <br />elements. He or she shall coordinate with other contractors and suppliers of <br />equipment and services which the Engineer /Owner may engage outside of his <br />contract. <br />1.02 Pre - Construction Requirements <br />Contractor to establish final specifications and proper channels for coordination. <br />Contractor to provide all samples requested by Designer /Client Representative. <br />1.03 Submittals by Fabricator <br />A. Submit Shop Drawings for approval by Designer /Client. Furnish elevations, <br />details of fabrication including all materials, shapes, dimensions, finishes, <br />design loads, anchorage, and method of connections. Show all dimensions <br />of letter forms. All sign faces to be laid out and submitted to Designer for <br />Approval. <br />B. Samples <br />Fabricator must match all custom paint and materials as specified by <br />Designer. Each paint sample on suitable substrate shall be submitted to <br />Designer prior to the commencement of fabrication. <br />Submit three (3) sets (for review /approval by Client and Designer) of non- <br />returnable samples of each custom color, material or finish as specified in <br />these design documents. <br />C. Electrical Files <br />The Designer shall provide electronic files in an Apple /Mac format. <br />Fabricator to purchase proper type faces for the completion of the job. <br />Because it is expected that the awarded firm will have suitable software and <br />a computer to open files, full size patterns of signs are NOT required. <br />' D. Supplementary Product Literature (not part of this contract) <br />The Fabricator will furnish Designer /Client, with Fabricators' literature <br />describing the general properties of each product to be used in the Work. <br />' 05/06 1 - <br />03 4122.E <br />
