E. Structural Calculations <br />Submit for information. Furnish engineering calculations to show that <br />maximum stress and deflection of sign elements and sign support system <br />do not exceed specified performance requirements under full design <br />loading. Sign structure shall be calculated to withstand 150mph windloads. <br />The sizes proposed by the designer are only to be used as a guide. Any <br />changes or modifications to the design of the sign(s), shall be submitted to <br />designer for approval prior to the commencement of fabrication. <br />Calculations shall be prepared and seal affixed to Shop drawings by an <br />' engineer licensed in the State of Florida. <br />F. Extra Materials Deliver extra materials to the client in Fabricator's original <br />packing, touch up paint, lamps, hardware, installation materials, inserts, etc., <br />as may be required. <br />1.04 Quality Assurance <br />A. Regulatory Requirements Comply with applicable requirements of the laws, <br />codes, ordinances, and regulations of International, National and Municipal <br />authorities having jurisdiction. Obtain necessary approvals and permits for all <br />such authorities. (No Permits are required for this Project) <br />B. Markings and Labels No labels or markings are to be used unless required by <br />authorities per code. If necessary, locate markings and other identifications so <br />as to be concealed from public view and as acceptable to Designer /Client. <br />NOTE: All signs /posts are to be delivered to the City of Sunny Isles Beach and <br />not be installed by the Successful Bidder. <br />C. General <br />1. The Fabricator is responsible for hiring, compensating, and coordinating <br />all sub - contractors in the various trades which may be required to <br />construct the Work. The Fabricator shall be responsible for the quality of <br />all materials and workmanship of any firm or individual who acts as a <br />subcontractor. <br />All work under this Contract shall be performed by skilled craftsmen under <br />supervision of trained foremen, experienced in the trade or craft required <br />to accomplish the Work and produce products of high quality. The <br />Fabricator shall guarantee all materials and workmanship for a <br />Designer /Client specified period after date of acceptance of Work by <br />Designer /Client. <br />05/06 2 03-4122.E <br />
