II <br />2. Written dimensions on drawings shall have precedence over scaled <br />dimensions. Fabricator shall field verify and be responsible for all <br />dimensions and conditions shown by these drawings. Shop details must <br />be approved by Designer /Client prior to fabrication. <br />3. Designer /Client shall be notified by Fabricator in writing of any <br />discrepancies in drawings and /or changes required in construction details. <br />4. Fabricator may not manufacture, reproduce, or exhibit these designs, or <br />' modify them for any other purpose outside of this current contract without <br />written approval of Designer /Client. <br />1.05 Warranty <br />A. Signing Warranty Submit for Designer /Client's documentation. Furnish written <br />warranty, as specified by Designer /Client, of two (2) years, signed by the <br />Fabricator, agreeing to repair or replace Work which has failed as a result of <br />defects in materials or workmanship. Upon notification of such defects within <br />the warranty period, make necessary repairs or replacement at the <br />convenience of the Designer /Client. <br />1.06 Maintenance <br />A. Maintenance and Operating Manuals Submit for Client's documentation. <br />Furnish complete manuals describing the materials, devices and procedures <br />to be followed in operating, cleaning and maintaining the Work. Include <br />Fabricator's brochures and parts lists describing the actual materials used in <br />the Work, including metal alloys, finishes, and other major components. <br />Assemble manuals for component parts into single binders identified for each <br />system. <br />PART 2 - PRODUCTS <br />2.01 Sign Materials <br />A. Adhesives (Not Applicable) <br />Silicone adhesive used for installing sign items shall be as manufactured by <br />General Electric, Dow Corning, or equal. Poly foam or "Isotac" contact <br />adhesive tape, manufactured by 3 -M, shall be used in conjunction with <br />silicone adhesives for installation of wall signs, in minimum thicknesses <br />available. (Not Applicable) <br />B. All specified metals stainless steel and aluminum shall be suitable for <br />ornamental architectural work. Surface finish shall be smooth, free of <br />extrusion marks or imperfections. Alloy shall be selected to meet the <br />structural requirements of the specific application. <br />05/06 3 03-4122.E <br />
