Structural metal for concealed framing shall be of hot or cold rolled steel or <br />structural aluminum as required to properly satisfy sign engineering <br />specifications. <br />C. Foam Tape (Not Applicable) <br />' Provide polyurethane foam tape or "Isotac" laminate tape as manufactured by <br />3MO or equivalent, applied to sign components as required, non - visible. <br />D. Hardware /Hinges <br />Provide and install all incidental hardware necessary for the proper <br />functioning of the signs, including but not restricted to materials and products <br />covered in this section. <br />Provide stainless steel or brass hinges for all hinged access panels, <br />depending on material or access door. Provide pin tumbler locks for all <br />access panels requiring locks. Provide stainless steel fasteners for <br />assembling ferrous and nonferrous metals. <br />E. Insulation <br />Separate all ferrous and nonferrous metals with nonconductive gaskets to <br />prevent electrolysis. In addition, to gaskets, provide stainless steel fasteners <br />for same case. <br />F. Plexiglass or Acrylic Plastic (Not Applicable) <br />Shall be continuous manufactured /extruded acrylic or UV polycarbonate <br />lexan, appropriate for interior or exterior applications as required. All plastics <br />shall be of uniform color, translucence and illumination, as supplied by <br />Fabricator. No visible seams are permitted. Minimum allowable thickness is <br />3mm thick, unless otherwise noted on drawings. All beveled edges, where <br />noted, are to be polished. (Not Applicable) <br />H. Glass (Not Applicable) <br />Unless otherwise specified, all glass to be clear. See Working Drawings for <br />thicknesses. Designer /Client to approve sample for color. All edges are to be <br />free from sharp edges and polished, unless otherwise specified. <br />' I. ADA Not Plaques Applicable) <br />q ( Pp ) <br />Graphics: Tactile copy and Braille to be raised 1/32 inch min. from plaque. <br />Graphics to comply with relevant ADA regulations and the requirements <br />indicated for size, style, spacing, content, position and colors. Material used <br />for plaques shall be JET@ photopolymer only. Any plaques exposed to <br />exterior weather elements shall be exterior grade JETO photopolymer. An <br />equivalent may be used, although at this time, known alternatives do not meet <br />Designer's requirements for durability under extreme conditions and paint <br />adhesion.
