Instances which might affect the validity of warranty or bond <br />7. Contractor, name of responsible principal, address and telephone <br />number <br />1.04 FORM OF SUBMITTALS <br />A. Prepare in duplicate packets <br />B. Format: <br />1. Size 8 1/2 inches x 11 inches, punch sheets for standard 3 -post <br />binder <br />2. Cover: Identify each packet with typed or printed title "WARRANTIES <br />AND BONDS ". List: <br />a. Title of Project <br />b. Name of Contractor <br />C. Binders: Commercial quality, three -post binder, with durable and cleanable <br />plastic covers and maximum post width of 2 inches. <br />1.05 WARRANTY SUBMITTAL REQUIREMENTS <br />A. For all major pieces of equipment, submit a one -year warranty from the <br />equipment manufacturer. The manufacturer's warranty period shall be <br />concurrent with the Contractor's for one (1) year commencing at the time of <br />acceptance by the Owner (see Section 01030). <br />B. The Contractor shall be responsible for obtaining certificates for equipment <br />warranty for all major equipment specified under division 7, 11, 13, 14, 15 <br />and 16 and which has a 1 HP motor or which lists for more than $1,000. <br />The Engineer reserves the right to request warranties for equipment not <br />classified as major. The Contractor shall still warrant equipment not <br />considered to be "major" in the Contractor's one -year warranty period even <br />though certificates of warranty may not be required. <br />C. In the event that the equipment manufacturer or supplier is unwilling to <br />provide a one -year warranty commencing at the time of Owner acceptance, <br />the Contractor shall obtain from the manufacturer a two (2) year warranty <br />01740 -2 03- 4138.0 <br />
