Having worked in both the public and private sector, Jeff brings a broad range of experience to apply in practice, using an innovative management approach to guide projects from the planning and design phase, through permitting, development and construction. <br /> <br />Relevant Experience: <br />¬ Live Like Bella Park, Miami Dade County, FL - Lead Landscape Architect for facility <br />improvements including landscape and irrigation design within an 8.6-acre area of Live Like <br />Bella Park in Homestead, FL. The landscape design proposed landscape areas compliant <br />with City of Homestead Landscape Ordinance parking and screening requirements while <br />highlighting entry access points with bold landscape. Johnson Engineering analyzed existing <br />tree locations and potential impact by construction for tree removal and relocation <br />opportunities. The landscape architectural team also considered the LEED vegetative open <br />space by selecting a proposed plant palette consisting of drought tolerant, native, and <br />Florida Friendly plant material and designing a water-efficient drip irrigation system for <br />project sustainability. <br />¬ SW 176th and SW 264th Street Landscape Renovations, Miami Dade County, FL - <br />Landscape architectural design services provided for Miami-Dade Parks, Recreation and <br />Open Spaces (PROS) to prepare landscape construction plans for improvements to 0.87- <br />mile SW 176th Street from SW 107th Avenue to US 1 Southbound, and 0.74-mile SW <br />246th Street from U.S. 1 to SW 137th Street Southbound consisting of roadway median <br />landscape, ROW planting strips, and landscape areas within reconstructed roadway <br />R.O.W., medians and roundabouts. <br />¬ NE 164th Street Median Landscape Renovations, Miami Dade County, FL - Lead <br />landscape architect providing the landscape and irrigation design services for the renovated <br />improvements to this Eastern Shores Community Guardhouse and entrance road median <br />in North Miami Beach. Johnson Engineering’s landscape architectural team was responsible <br />for project management/coordination with the project architect, landscape design, existing <br />irrigation alterations and design, construction plan preparation, and cost estimating <br />¬ Rotonda West Entry Signs, Charlotte County, FL - The Rotonda West residential <br />community in Charlotte County was seeking to update their existing and deteriorating <br />identity signs at five locations. The scope of this project included the development of a new <br />sign that would embody the character of the community while being sensitive to the <br />budget. Through a series of public meetings and concept development a new sign emerged <br />to reflect this established community and its history. <br />¬ McSwain Park Plan, City of Arcadia, FL - Lead landscape architect and professional planner <br />for the conceptual planning & design, phased construction plans of this existing City Park <br />redevelopment. The park is situated in the urban limits of Arcadia and when completed will <br />serve as the City’s Community Green. There are five major elements to the design <br />containing a formal Community Green Area, Interactive Play Fountain, Main park Entry, <br />Formal Gardens area and much needed Off-street Parking within the existing parks 2.4 <br />acres. Phase 1 of this project consisting of the interactive fountain, bathroom facilities <br />sidewalks, fencing and landscaping has been completed. <br />¬ South Biscayne Drive Median Landscaping, North Port, FL - Project manager and lead <br />landscape architect for 1.5 miles of existing roadway median landscaping improvements. <br />This roadway connects existing residential to the north with commercial, along the US <br />Highway 41 to the south.
