Report to the Engineer when any reference point is lost or <br />destroyed, or requires relocation because of necessary changes in <br />grades or locations. <br />3. Require surveyor to replace project control points which may be <br />lost or destroyed. <br />a. Establish replacements based on original survey control. <br />1.05 PROJECT SURVEY REQUIREMENTS <br />A. Establish a minimum of two temporary bench marks on site, referenced to <br />data by survey control points. <br />1. Record locations, with horizontal and vertical data, on Project <br />Record Documents. <br />B. Establish lines and levels, locate and lay out, by instrumentation and <br />similar appropriate means: <br />1. Site Improvements <br />a. Stakes for grading, fill and topsoil placement. <br />b. Utility slopes and invert elevations. <br />2. Batter boards for structures <br />3. Building foundation, column locations and floor levels. <br />4. Controlling lines and levels required for mechanical and electrical <br />trades. <br />C. From time to time, verify layouts by same methods. <br />1.06 RECORDS <br />A. Maintain a complete, accurate log of all control and survey work as it <br />progresses. <br />B. At the end of each pay period and at the end of the job, submit certified <br />as -built information on mylars of Engineer's line drawings indicating <br />building and tank locations, elevations and stations of all underground <br />piping at 50 foot increments, at rapid changes in grade and at all fittings, <br />valves, conflicts, or any distinctive feature locations. <br />C. At the end of the project, submit a certified site survey at 1 " =50' scale on a <br />reproducible tracing sheet 24" x 36 ", indicating the building corners and <br />location of all structures. <br />1.07 SUBMITTALS <br />A.
