a. Factory Finish Paint: (Optional) The columns and frame shall be factory <br />finish painted with two coats weather resistant enamel paint. <br />b. Powder Coat: (Optional) The columns and frame shall receive one coat <br />zinc rich primer, then top coated with polyester powder- coating, 4 to 6 <br />mils. The frame shall be packaged in foam, cardboard, and stretch wrap <br />to protect the finish during transit. <br />7. Roofing: The roof system shall be 24 -gauge galvanized steel panels with 1- 3/16" <br />high ribs, 12" on center. It shall be precut into panels 3' wide by the length from <br />1 the eave to the ridge. Angles shall be factory precut. Matching roof trim & <br />fasteners shall be supplied. Ribs shall run with the pitch of the roof for proper <br />drainage. Hip and ridge beams must have cap plates for metal deck bearing. <br />Metal deck cannot bear on beam corner only. This is structurally unsound and <br />will be rejected. Panels shall be pre - painted with a "Kynar 500" paint system to a <br />color selected by owner from the standard color chart. <br />8. Pre-Engineered Package: The shelter shall be P re -cut & p re- fabricated package <br />' that shall include the structural steel frame, panelized pre- finished roof, <br />fasteners, trim & installation drawings. The structure shall be shipped in a <br />knocked down manner for minimum shipping charges. <br />9. Doors: Exterior doors (4) shall be T -0" x 6' -8" 18 -gauge metal clad, flush doors <br />with 16 -gauge metal frame. Doors shall be prepared to receive hardware and be <br />' prime painted. Doors shall include commercial hinges, levered handled locks, <br />and commercial closures. Field finish painting of doors & frames shall be by <br />owner or installer. <br />10. Walls: Exterior walls shall be horizontal cedar lap siding over OSB sheathing. <br />Hardiplank siding may be chosen in lieu of cedar lap siding. Other siding options <br />' must be provided by others. Nominal 2" x 6" SPF studs shall be spaced a <br />maximum 16" on center. Bottom plate shall be #2 grade or better CCA pressure <br />treated Southern Yellow Pine with 12" anchor bolts 48" on center. Top plates & <br />' blocking shall be included. Interior walls shall be vandal & graffiti resistant FRP <br />panels, field laminated to 1/2" moisture resistant gypsum board with RCP supplied <br />adhesive. All trim shall be included. <br />11. Plumbing Fixtures: (Optional - may be furnished by others) All fixtures shall be <br />viterous china. All accessories shall be stainless steel. Pipe, rough -in, & <br />' miscellaneous connection hardware supplied by others. Plumbing chase to have <br />a standard '/2" key handle hose bibb. Items not listed are not included in <br />package. NOTE: Not all accessories provided as an option to complete restroom <br />(i.e. trash cans, hand dryers, soap dispensers, shower heads, etc.). <br />IDecember 2006 2 06 -5723 <br />
