(C3TS) is pleased to submit this letter of interest and statement of qualifications for the above referenced project for your review and consideration. Corzo Castella Carballo Thompson Salman, P.A. (C3TS) is recognized statewide as a multi-discipline engineering firm with a particularly strong reputation in transportation. The firm's members have an extensive background in the design and planning of roadway and bridge enhancement projects similar to the project envisioned by the City. With a staff of over 110 people in Miami-Dade, Broward, Palm Beach and Orange Counties, C3TS is one of the largest Engineering and Architectural companies in South Rorida. At the same time, C3TS has always placed the highest emphasis on personal commitment with our clients, providing a principal of the firm to every client in order to insure the commitment of the firm's resources on each and every task. We believe that C3TS is uniquely qualified to provide these services and appreciate this opportunity to showcase our abilities to the City. Our financial standing is solid with billings of 12.94 million in 2005 and 14.75 million in 2006. C3TS proposes to perform as a Prime Consultant on this project with supporting firms hired as sub-consultants. C3TS has a long history of success in transportation projects for all levels of government. Our portfolio of projects for the Rorida Department of Transportation extends from small low level bridge crossings for off system bridges up to highway crossings for Interstate 1-95. We also work with numerous clients at the City and County level, and have performed on numerous transportation projects within residential and mixed-use neighborhoods. Furthermore, since we are an integrated Architectural and Engineering firm, we have been able to utilize this expertise to bring an aesthetic element into our transportation projects. Overall. we have excelled in utilizing this combined expertise to create attractive and useful projects that blend into their environments. To lead this highly qualified team of consultants, we have chosen Jeffrey S. Crews, P.E to be the Project Manager for this project. Mr. Crews has over 18 years of experience managing project in the South Rorida area. What makes Mr. Crews uniquely qualified for this role is his background in several areas which mirror the important aspects of this project. For a large part of his career, Mr. Crews was a structural engineer working on bridge projects very similar in nature to this one. While C3TS has a full- time staff of bridge engineers that will be dedicated to the structural analysis for this project, having a project manager with this relevant background will ensure that a structural mindset will be at work throughout the design process. Furthermore, Mr. Crews also has an extensive background in pedestrian facilities in environmentally sensitive areas including dune crossovers, boardwalks, fishing piers, and 3996 NW 9th ^ venue.
