This unique combination of experience will ensure that the Project Manager will proceed with a special sensitivity to the two most crucial aspects of the project. I To assist in the Project Management duties, we have assigned Silvia Beltre, P.E. as the Assistant Project Manager for the project. As you will see from our Project Approach, we feel that this project should be handled in a manner similar to an FDOT Project Development and Environment (PD&E) Study. Ms. Beltre is our leading expert in the performance of PD&E projects and has the experience to marshal the resources to properly execute the data gathering and decision making process that will result in a successful project. I I Robert T. Carballo, P.E. will be the Principal-in-Charge for C3TS. As both the President of C3TS and the Principal in charge of the Transportation Division, he is in the ideal position to ensure that all necessary resources are made available for this project. I Manuel Solaun, P.E. is the head of the C3TS Bridge Structures Department and will lead the Structural design for this project. Mr. Solaun has been a leader in bridge design in South Rorida for over 34 years and has experience in all kinds of bridge structures. This extensive experience will allow us to think outside the box in the design of this unique structure. I I In addition to our own in-house capabilities, C3TS has teamed with Consulting Engineering & Science, Inc. (CES) to provide Environmental Consultation and Permitting. We have carefully considered the important environmental implications of this corridor and determined that CES is, by-far the best firm for this project. We have worked with CES for many years and found them to be the most knowledgeable and responsive environmental consultants in the region. I I For construction expertise, we have supplemented our team with the firm of KMEC represented by Kourouche Mohandes, P.E. Together with our in-house CEI department, Mr. Mohandes will provide Construction Oversight as well as Constructability Reviews during design. Formerly with the Rorida Department of Transportation, Mr. Mohandes has extensive experience in relevant construction projects. I To complete our team, we have added several other high quality sub-consultants. The firm of Rosenberg Gardener and Associates have joined us to provide Landscape Architecture and will assist in the master planning of the pedestrian aspects of the project. We have also added the firm of HR Engineering for Geotechnical services and the firm of C.H. Perez and Associates for Surveying servIces. I I I As to staffing requirements, C3TS has an adequate number of local professional engineers on staff to service your projects adequately. Currently, the firm is nearing completion on a number of major design projects and will have available staff capable of being assigned to new projects C3TS is prepared to commit personnel as needed for these projects.
