Project Manager responsible for the design and management of the signing and <br />pavement markings and signalization components for this Resurfacing, Restoration, and Rehabilitation of <br />16.4 77 miles of SR 10 (US90). Signalization improvements included upgrading the existing signals at four <br />intersections. FDOT Project Manager: Wade Herod, P.E. (850) 638-0250. <br /> <br />SR-826/Sunny Isles Boulevard Enhancement, Sunny Isles Beach (2003-2006) - Project Manager for this <br />enhancement of SR 826 Eastbound/ Sunny Isles Boulevard from the Intercoastal Waterway bridge to SR A-1- <br />AlCollins Avenue in Sunny Isles Beach, Florida. A Joint Project Agreement (JPA) project between the City of <br />Sunny Isles Bach and FDOT, the project included the enhancement of the existing sidewalk through its <br />widening and added landscape and lighting features. This widening of the sidewalk required the <br />reconfiguration of the existing roadway, including the merging of the inside and outside business loops, <br />through construction of new curb and gutter, relocation of drainage and the resurfacing and restriping of the <br />roadway. Also included in the project was the upgrade to the existing signalization within the project. Mr. <br />Gonzalez coordinated with several agencies, utilities and subconsultants for the successful completion of the <br />project. City Project Manager: Mr. Jorge Vera (305) 957-1311 <br /> <br />SR A-1-A (Indian Creek Drive) Roadway Reconstruction, Miami-Dade County (2002-2004). Project <br />Engineer responsible for the design of this urban reconstruction project. Mr. Gonzalez managed the project <br />schedule, budget, and plans production. He also performed quality control on the roadway design and plans <br />such as horizontal and vertical alignment, drainage, cross-sections, signing and pavement markings, <br />signalization, and lighting. FDOT Project Manager: Dennis Fernandez (305) 470-5569. <br /> <br />N.W. 14 Street Resurfacing and Widening, City of Miami (2002-2004). Project Manager responsible for <br />the management of the design and plans production for the Resurfacing of NW 14 Street from NW 34 Avenue <br />to NW 22 Avenue for the City of Miami Department of Capital Improvement. The project included the <br />resurfacing of NW 14 Street, widening for paved shoulder, drainage improvements, pedestrian ramps, and <br />construction of street parking areas (concrete grid pavers). Work included Roadway and Signing and <br />Pavement Marking Plans, Drainage design and analysis, and estimates. <br />City of Miami Department of Capital Improvement: Project Manager: Cesar Gonzalez (305) 416-1219. <br /> <br />S.W. 69th Avenue Resurfacing, City of Miami (2002-2004). Project Manager responsible for the <br />management and design for the pavement resurfacing and roadway rehabilitation to S.W. 69th Avenue, an <br />urban collector, from Flagler Street to S.W. 8th Street for the City of Miami Department of Capital <br />Improvements. The project also include the upgrade of the signing and pavement markings, driveways, <br />sidewalk, and pedestrian ramps (ADA) throughout. <br />City of Miami Department of Capital Improvement: Project Manager: Maria Lopez, P.E. (305) 416-1206. <br /> <br />SR 714/ Martin Downs Boulevard 3R, Martin County (2001-2003). Project Manager responsible for the <br />management and plans production of a Resurfacing, Restoration, and Rehabilitation of SR 714/Martin Downs <br />Boulevard for FDOT District 4. Included the 3R Report, Lighting Analysis and Roadway and Signing and <br />Marking Plans. FDOT Project Manager: Jose Velarde, P.E. (954) 777-4677 <br /> <br />SR 822 / Sheridan Street Intersection Improvement, Broward County (2002-2004). Project Manager <br />responsible for the management and plans production of a Intersection Improvement and SR 822/Sheridan <br />Street and N. 52 Avenue for FDOT District 4. Included the 3R Report, lighting analysis and Roadway and <br />Signing and Marking Plans. This project was successfully electronically signed, sealed and delivered for a <br />successful electronic letting (4/24/05). FDOT Project Manager: Bing Wang, P.E. (954) 777-4406 <br /> <br />SR A-1-A (Ocean Drive) Lighting and Signalization, Broward County (2002-2003). Project Engineer <br />responsible for the design and plans production for signalization and decorative lighting along SR A 1 A in the <br />City of Lauderdale by the Sea for FDOT District 4. FDOT Project Manager: Jose Velarde (954) 777-4677. <br /> <br />SR 826 Connector Ramp at Golden Glades Interchange, Miami-Dade County (2000). Mr. Gonzalez was <br />responsible for providing design recommendation sand guidance for post design services of this roadway <br />project during construction. Roadway improvements for this project included the widening, restriping, and <br />signing of the ramps of this major interchange for adding lanes and the upgrading of safety devices to meet <br />standards.
