This project was a <br />major ($200 million construction cost) Strategic Intermodal System (SIS) project for the Florida Department of <br />Transportation (FDOT) on a county road to improve capacity and mobility of airport cargo traffic along the <br />corridor. Mr. Gonzalez designed and produced construction plans for the various elements of this major <br />highway project such as drainage, profiles, alignments, cross sections, and traffic control plans according to <br />federal, state, and local standards and guidelines. Mr. Gonzalez also coordination between all agencies, sub- <br />consultants and the public. The project required coordination with Miami-Dade County Public Works, Miami- <br />Dade Aviation Department, and DERM. <br />FDOT Project Manager: Jason Chang, P.E. Contract requires simultaneous task work <br />orders to concurrently develop design and plans for several projects. (2004- <br />Present) Project Manager responsible design and management of the Resurfacing, Restoration, and <br />Rehabilitation (3R) of SR 834/Sample Road from Rock Island Road to Perimeter Road.
