Create a work load to be <br />produced in house as well as the subcontracted to outside consultants including all technical presentations to <br />public, elected officials and the Metropolitan Planning Organization as well as subcontracted to outside <br />consultants. Included corridor analysis, traffic studies, master plans, engineering reports, environmental <br />documents, and preliminary design plans. Check <br />typical sections, horizontal and vertical geometry, and other roadway design items required in the preparation of <br />plans in accordance with State, Federal and local standards. Monitor the schedule, provide technical support, <br />supervise and evaluate the work of assigned engineers and technicians. <br /> <br />Maintain close liaison in all pre-construction design with individuals and groups within the department, FHWA, <br />Miami-Dade County, other public agencies and the public.
