QUEVEDO <br />Subsurface Utility Engineering Coordinator <br /> <br />~~!!~, <br /> <br />Miami-Dade County FEMA Secondary Canal Repair and Restoration Project (DERM). As a project <br />Manager for DERM Program for Secondary Canal Dredging and Restoration, Mr. Quevedo was responsible <br />for the implementation of the program framework from the beginning stages. We develop all the guidelines <br />and procedures for the entire canal. This included but not limited to Inspection form, close out packages, <br />analysis, payment request, negotiation, punch list, embankment restoration procedures, Post dredged <br />sediment analysis, survey review, weekly status report meeting with contractor and DERM representatives. <br />Under Mr. Quevedo the program cost approximately $80M, which included four Dredging Contractors for nine <br />Canals. Melrose, Calder, Gratigny, Red Road, Lake Lucerne, Coral Gables, NW 58 St. Comfort. Palm Spring <br />Canal. Mr. Quevedo also ensured that all works under the FEMA Program were undertaken in accordance <br />with Contract Specifications and Conditions of Contract to minimized overrun and misinterpretation. <br /> <br />Infiltration/Exfiltration/lmprovement (liE/I) for Miami-Dade Water and Sewer Department, Miami-Dade <br />County. As Project Manager for the Infiltration/Exfiltration/lmprovement Program, Mr. Quevedo is responsible <br />for the daily operations of inspecting and managing nine individual contracts for the implementation of <br />trenchless technology in South Florida. Mr. Quevedo is also responsible for weekly construction meetings <br />with contractors and municipalities, to coordinate work orders between the contractors and MDWASD. <br />Administrative duties include payment approval of approximately $1.5M a month for pipe replacement, points <br />repairs, sectional and curved in place liner. Mr. Quevedo was also responsible for a staff of engineers and <br />inspectors that covered the area of Miami-Dade County. <br /> <br />Design Task Manager, Mr. Quevedo has worked in the preparation of Traffic Control plans for Rainbow <br />Interchange at Broward University Drive; Canal Point, Atlantic Blvd.; Knight's Key, and NW 87th Avenue, <br />developed cross sections, horizontal and vertical geometry, signing and pavement markings plans. Mr. <br />Quevedo has been in charge of Parking Facility Inspections; Railroad Roadway Crossings reconstruction <br />Traffic Control and inspection throughout Miami-Dade and Broward Counties. <br /> <br />As Roadway Inspector for the Biscayne Boulevard V and VI Projects in Miami-Dade County, Florida, <br />Projects No. 87030-3570 and No.87030-3598, Mr. Quevedo was responsible for the inspection and <br />supervision of all aspects or roadway construction which included: Concrete Asphalt base, sub-base, <br />Drainage Construction, Earthwork, Signalization, Street Lighting, Signing and Pavement Markings.
