Payment for furnishing and installing of limerock base material will be made <br />at the unit price per cubic yard at the depth indicated and named in the Bid <br />Schedule, which price shall constitute full compensation for applying prime <br />coat and furnishing all such material, in place, including all transportation, <br />handling, cleaning, positioning and compacting of said bedding to a Load- <br />Bearing-Ratio of One-hundred (LBR 100), and disposal of waste or <br />unsuitable material. <br /> <br />J. <br /> <br />Compaction/Stabilization of Subgrade <br /> <br />1. Measurement for payment for compaction/stabilization of subgrade will be <br />based upon the number of square yards of such materials actually <br />compacted, all in accordance with the Contract Documents. <br /> <br />2. Payment for compacting/stabilizing of subgrade will be made at the unit price <br />per square yard named in the Bid Schedule, which price shall constitute full <br />compensation for handling, cleaning, positioning and compacting of said <br />bedding to a Load-Bearing-Ratio of Forty (LBR 40), importing fill material and <br />disposal of excess waste or unsuitable material. <br /> <br />K. <br /> <br />Furnish and Install Curb, Curb and Gutter and/or Valley Gutter <br /> <br />1. Measurement for payment for furnishing and installing curb, curb and gutter, <br />and/or valley gutter will be based upon the number of linear feet of such <br />curbing actually constructed as determined by measurement along the <br />centerline of the curb in place, all in accordance with the Contract <br />Documents. <br /> <br />2. Payment for furnishing and installing curb, curb and gutter, and/or valley <br />gutter will be made at the unit price per linear foot of such curbing named in <br />the Bid Schedule, which price shall constitute full compensation for complete <br />installation including grading, placing 4" Iimerock pad, forming, saw cutting of <br />pavement and cleanup of all areas disturbed by this construction. <br /> <br />L. <br /> <br />Clear and Grade Swale <br /> <br />1. Measurement for payment for clearing and grading swale will be based upon <br />the number of square yards of swale actually cleared and graded, all in <br />accordance with the Contract Documents. <br /> <br />2. Payment for clearing and grading swale will be made at the unit price per <br />square yard of clearing and grading named in the Bid Schedule, which price <br />shall constitute full compensation, including earthwork, importing of fill <br />material, removal and disposal of excess material including but not limited to <br />brush, bollards, shrubs, concrete, sod, and protection of trees to remain. <br />Swale is defined as the area between the edge of pavement to the right-of- <br />way line, excluding all driveway aprons and concrete sidewalks. <br /> <br />01025-5 <br /> <br />03-4197 <br />
