Comply with specifications and standards for each specific project involved. <br /> <br />PART 3 - EXECUTION <br /> <br />3.01 INSPECTION <br /> <br />A. Inspect existing conditions of Project, including elements subject to damage or to <br />movement during cutting or patching. <br /> <br />B. After uncovering work, inspect conditions affecting installation of Products, or <br />performance of work. <br /> <br />C. Report unsatisfactory or questionable conditions to the Engineer in writing; do not <br />proceed with work until the Engineer has provided further instructions. <br /> <br />3.02 PREPARATION <br /> <br />A. Provide adequate temporary support as necessary to assure structural value or <br />integrity of affected portion of Work. <br /> <br />B. Provide devices and methods to protect other portions of Project from damage. <br /> <br />C. Provide protection from elements for that portion of the project that may be <br />exposed by cutting and patching work, and maintain excavations free from water. <br /> <br />3.03 PERFORMANCE <br /> <br />A. Execute cutting and demolition by methods that will prevent damage to other <br />work, and will provide proper surfaces to receive installation of repairs. <br /> <br />B. Execute excavating and backfilling by methods that will prevent settlement or <br />damage to other work. <br /> <br />C. Employ original Installer or Fabricator to perform cutting and patching for: <br />1. Weather-exposed or moisture-resistant surfaces. <br />2. Sight-exposed finished surfaces. <br /> <br />D.
