Density tests for Iimerock base at the rate of three tests per day on each course <br />of completed compacted base. <br /> <br />D. Density tests for roadway crossings at the rate of one test per lane per lift of <br />compacted material, beginning one foot above the normal water table. <br /> <br />E. If in the opinion of the Engineer, suitable compaction has not been achieved <br />around structures, density tests may be required. <br /> <br />F. Concrete compressive strength at the rate of three cylinders per the lesser of 50 <br />cubic yards or per day. <br /> <br />G. Should the above test results indicate deficiencies, the Engineer may order <br />additional tests at the Contractor's expense, and all reworked areas shall be <br />retested at the Contractor's expense. <br /> <br />H.
