Complhmce with the Florida Occupational Safety and Health Act <br />The Contractor shall comply with all requirements of Chapter 442 of the Florida Statutes regarding Material <br />Safety Data Sheets (MSDS). <br /> <br />15. Alternative Fuels <br />Considering the dynamic nature of fuel technology and the growing demand for alternative fuels, the County <br />reserves the right to add any alternative fuel to the fuel types required. When such a need arises, the County <br />shall contact the Contractor to find out whether the Contractor has the ability to provide or obtain the <br />alternative fuel. The County shall provide the Contractor with information on the fuel type, the technical <br />specifications of the fuel, the. acceptable operating parameters, the estimated quantities, delivery <br />requirements, and any other relevant information available. The Contractor shall submit a written price offer <br />for the supply of the al~ernative fuel for the County's review and approval. <br /> <br />The County has the right not to accept the 'Contractor's price offer on the alternative fuel and to purchase the <br />alternative fuel elsewhere. <br /> <br />16. Reportina ReQuirements <br />The Contractor shall submit to the County a Fuel Purchasing Report on a monthly basis. The Fuel Purchasing <br />Report shall include fuel volume totals by fuel type for each department by delivery address. The report shall <br />also include a "Grand Total" fuel volume for all County departments for each fuel type. The required fields are <br />the following:' . <br /> <br />· Reporting Period (specify month) <br />· Department <br />· Delivery Address <br />· Delivery Volume (do not round off reported volume amounts, allow volumes to be reported up to as <br />many decimal pla~es as needed) <br />· Subtotal Volume (per fuel type for each department) <br />· Grand Total Volume (per fuel type for all departments) <br />· Note regarding fuel types: report must specify the ethanol and biodiesel blend being delivered <br /> <br />The Fuel Purchasing Report shall be sent in electronic format (Excel format preferred, sample available <br />upon request) via email to: Susannah Troner, Office of Sustainability (trones@miamidade.aov) and Derek <br />Bradchulis, Department of Environmental Resources Management (BradcD@miamidade.aov). <br /> <br />4 <br /> <br />s\~ <br />
