<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Professional General Engineering Consultant- <br />Traflic Engineering <br />City of Sunny Isles Beach <br /> <br />Robert Skaggs, PE, PTOE, will serve as Traffic Operations Design Leader. Mr. Skaggs has 12 years <br />experience in traffic engineering and ITS. He served as Project Engineer on the CR 296 Connector from <br />118th Avenue to North of Ulmerton Road, Pinellas County project, where he prepared plans for <br />signalization, and signing and pavement marking for this urban roadway. Mr. Skaggs previously served <br />as Senior Traffic Studies Engineer at the Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT), where he <br />provided oversight of the maintenance and operations of signals, highway lighting, and signing and <br />pavement marking for a tour-county area. He served as Senior Traffic Engineer for the US 19 Signal <br />Timing project in St. Petersburg, where he reviewed new corridor signal timing plans and provided <br />recommendations for improvement. In addition, Mr. Skaggs serves as Project Manager on the FDOT <br />District Seven Districtwide ITS Consultant contract. <br /> <br />Vicki Castro, PE, PTOE, will serve as Traffic Operations Studies Leader. Ms. Castro has over 17 years <br />of experience, including eight years with the FDOT as the FDOT District Seven District Safety Engineer. <br />Ms. Castro has prepared numerous Traffic Impact Analysis reports for projects in Hillsborough, Lake, <br />Lee, Sarasota, and Seminole counties, and understands the implications of development related to access <br />management. Ms. Castro serves as Project Manager on V ANUS' recently-selected (second) FDOT <br />District Seven Districtwide Safety Studies contract. Ms. Castro also serves as Project Manager on the <br />FDOT District Seven Signal Retiming contract, where she has developed signal timings in Citrus, <br />Hernando, and Pasco counties. She served as Project Manager on the Collier County, Manatee County, <br />and Sarasota County signal timing projects. In addition, Ms. Castro is certified in Advanced Maintenance <br />of Traffic (MOT). <br /> <br />David Krauss will serve as ITS Leader. Mr. Krauss has over 20 years of specialized experience in ITS <br />and communications, including A TMSs, wireless information systems, video monitoring and data <br />transmissions systems. He serves as the Project Manager on the Boca Raton A TMS Integration project, <br />where he is performing design services, equipment testing and implementation assistance for the City's <br />ITS program. Mr. Krauss served as Senior ITS Manager on the Lee County Incident Management <br />System (IMS) Design-Build Criteria Package, which included system design for an IMS which covers <br />four bridges in Lee County. Included in this work are both fiber and wireless systems design. He also <br />served as Project Manager on the FDOT District Seven ITS General Consultant. <br /> <br />Sara Calhoun, PE, will serve as Senior Transportation Engineer. Ms. Calhoun has over 13 years of <br />experience. Ms. Calhoun was responsible for the design of five signalization plans for the Collier County <br />Annual Contract for Traffic Engineering Consultant Services. She serves as Project Manager on the Lee <br />County On-demand Traffic Engineering Services project, which includes the review and preparation of <br />ITS plans and specifications. Ms. Calhoun assisted on the FDOT District Three Districtwide <br />Miscellaneous Traffic Operations Analysis/Design Services project, where she was responsible for the <br />analysis of roadway corridors and intersections throughout the Florida Panhandle. She developed plans <br />and prepared control center design requirements for the Lakeland A TMS Design-Build Request for <br />Proposals (RFP) Package. Ms. Calhoun currently serves as Project Manager on the Pinellas County <br />A TMS project. <br /> <br />H. Clay Sherrod, PE, will serve as Senior Electrical and Communications Engineer. Mr. Sherrod has <br />over 50 years of experience in project management, design, field construction, construction management, <br />and project procurement for transportation and communications systems. He developed the Design-Build <br />bid package for the Sunshine Skyway Bridge VMS project. Mr. Sherrod served as Chief Engineer on the <br />1-595 IMS, where he provided conceptual development, preliminary and final design of the <br />communication and control system to support the deployment of an IMS on 1-595 in Broward County. <br />He developed a concept for an integrated control center for the City of Boca Raton A TMS Integration <br />project. Mr. Sherrod developed the communications architecture for the Broward County/Palm Beach <br />County APTS project.
