Building structure consisted of steel <br />framing supported on exterior masonry bearing walls. Although the roadway is on a curved alignment (R = 819', e = <br />0.078 ft/ft), a wider rectangular bridge was designed to allow for the <br />use of the Florida U-Beams and reduce construction costs while <br />meeting MDX aesthetic requirements.
