For this contract the BCC <br />Team is committing the services of Mr. Manuel Benitez P.E., a highly respected design <br />professional with a proven track record of getting things done. With over twenty years of local <br />design experience, Mr. Benitez brings a wealth of knowledge to this assignment. As Project <br />Manager, he will deliver a successful project to the City on each and every task work order by: <br /> <br />. Committing highly competent and experienced professionals to projects and providing <br />them with the necessary resources to assure success, <br /> <br />. Utilizing project management tools such as Primavera and Deltek Vision to assure <br />projects are on time and on budget. <br /> <br />. Continuous communication with the City's Project Manager to ensure expectations are <br />being met and information is being delivered between parties. <br /> <br />. Taking a proactive approach that emphasizes the early resolution of project issues and a <br />philosophy focused on providing value added services. <br />4.4 Project Jt;lallagement <br />Our Project Management Approach is to establish the project <br />requirements; set the basis for controlling scope, schedule, and budget of <br />the project tasks; and describe the principal responsibilities and <br />authority of the project participants. At BCC we understand the <br />necessity of successfully completing project goals within the <br />predetermined schedule and work program budget. BCC will develop a <br />set of contract documents that will be functional, cost effective, biddable and maintainable. We <br />will use a "hands-on" Project Management approach to effectively complete the contract. Our <br />streamlined production oriented team along with state of the art resources allows us to complete <br />project assignments on record time with a high level of technical proficiency and professional <br />quality. Upon receipt of a request for services, BCC will schedule a meeting with the City's <br />Project Manager to discuss the proposed scope of services and will schedule a field visit to fine <br />tune the scope of services. The initial field review will include video taping/pictures of existing <br />conditions to help define project issues and deficiencies. After the field meeting, the BCC Project <br />Manager, Manuel Benitez, P.E., will coordinate with the City's Project Manager to finalize the <br />scope. Described below is a set of management activities that we will deploy to manage work <br />orders assigned to BCC under this contract. <br />4.4.1 Projeet Kick-Off Meeting <br />We will begin with a kick-off meeting to identify the key project issues, team <br />participants, discuss project purpose and goals, define team member roles and <br />responsibilities, and to identify expectations. The planning and scheduling of <br />the kick-off meeting will be coordinated through the City of Sunny Isles <br />Project Manager. <br />4.4.2 Projeet Reporting <br />BCC will distribute meeting minutes within 3 working days of the conclusion of any meeting. <br />Action items resulting from the meeting will be identified, including a responsible individual for <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />7300 N Kendall Drive I Suite 660 I Miami, Florida 33156 t. 305.670.2350 <br /> <br />Page 12 of 14 <br />
