Hurricane Recovery and Debris Monitoring Services - including conformity with FEMA <br />Regulations. <br /> <br />Our team, "YOUR TEAM" has <br />exhaustively researched this <br />solicitation and their associated issues; <br />to this end, we have assigned our best <br />Roadway, Drainage, Water and Sewer, <br />Electrical, Mechanical Engineers and " <br />construction management engineers to <br />develop technical solutions to meet the <br />challenges of this contract. The same <br />staff that has been presented in this <br />Technical Proposal will guide all <br />projects that may be assigned under u <br />this contract through its successful <br />completion. Our project research <br />included a comprehensive review of <br />the Request for Qualifications package <br />prepared by the City. Our team task <br />leaders are familiar with these types of <br />projects and have provided similar <br />services for the City of Miami Beach <br />and the City of Miami in the past. <br /> <br /> <br />The project team will be lead by Mr. <br />Carlos M. Gil-Mera, P.E. who will <br />serve as Project Manager. As Project <br />Manager he will be responsible for the <br />technical design elements of all <br />projects as well as the required <br />coordination among the different <br />disciplines to ensure the timely <br />completion of all projects within the <br />established proposed schedule. He will also be responsible for the daily project coordination, <br />scheduling and budgeting for the contract. Mr. GiI-Mera will act as the sole point of contact between <br />APCTE, and the City of Sunny Isles Beach. Mr. Gil-Mera is involved today as Project Manager for the <br />Nautilus Neighborhood Improvement Project for the City of Miami Beach. This is a very successful <br />design-build project where our firm is leading the design and construction management effort. Mr. Gil- <br />Mera worked for FDOT for fifteen years, where he spent the last eleven years in the internal design <br />office working on the production of roadway plans including minor design and major reconstruction <br />roadway projects. During the last two years of his career at FDOT, he worked as District VI Roadway <br />Design Project Manager where he was the head of an Internal Design Team working on a large <br />number of resurfacing and reconstruction projects.
