Our team, "YOUR TEAM" has exhaustively researched this solicitation and their associated issues; to this end, we have assigned our best Roadway, Drainage, Water and Sewer, Electrical, Mechanical Engineers and " construction management engineers to develop technical solutions to meet the challenges of this contract. The same staff that has been presented in this Technical Proposal will guide all projects that may be assigned under u this contract through its successful completion. Our project research included a comprehensive review of the Request for Qualifications package prepared by the City. Our team task leaders are familiar with these types of projects and have provided similar services for the City of Miami Beach and the City of Miami in the past. The project team will be lead by Mr. Carlos M. Gil-Mera, P.E. who will serve as Project Manager. As Project Manager he will be responsible for the technical design elements of all projects as well as the required coordination among the different disciplines to ensure the timely completion of all projects within the established proposed schedule. He will also be responsible for the daily project coordination, scheduling and budgeting for the contract. Mr. GiI-Mera will act as the sole point of contact between APCTE, and the City of Sunny Isles Beach. Mr. Gil-Mera is involved today as Project Manager for the Nautilus Neighborhood Improvement Project for the City of Miami Beach. This is a very successful design-build project where our firm is leading the design and construction management effort. Mr. Gil- Mera worked for FDOT for fifteen years, where he spent the last eleven years in the internal design office working on the production of roadway plans including minor design and major reconstruction roadway projects. During the last two years of his career at FDOT, he worked as District VI Roadway Design Project Manager where he was the head of an Internal Design Team working on a large number of resurfacing and reconstruction projects.
