Quality Assurance: The RS&H Team places a high priority on the Quality Assurance process since it is essential to our continued success in the marketplace. All of the project team members participating in this assignment will play an important and integral role in carrying out our proposed Quality Control and Quality Assurance program. The key elements of the plan include: . Identification of the responsible project staff and the training of those staff involved with the Quality Control process. . Quality Control procedures including plans checking, calculations checking, coordination, comment response verification and documentation, field reviews, and constructability reviews. . Quality Assurance measures and assessment involving the project manager and project director. · Regular progress meetings with Project Team to ensure proper coordination and communication. The RS&H Team will ensure that all design and production efforts are progressing according to the project schedule and that all required Quality Assurance and Quality Control reviews are being conducted and properly documented. The responsible professionals and QAlQC Task Manager will certify that the Quality Control reviews were performed by staff professionals to affirm its completeness, accuracy, quality, and proper application of design criteria. This certification will also ensure that all comments resulting from the reviews have been resolved and/or incorporated into the contract documents. I EXPERIENCE WITH REGULATORY AGENCIES AND CONSTRUCTION I REGULATORY AGENCIES AND PERMITTING The RS&H Team offers a number of qualified professionals with extensive experience in the complex permitting process of the regulatory agencies. Preparing and submitting thorough permit packages for a number of projects has helped establish relationships with agencies such as Miami-Dade County Department of Environmental Resources Management (DERM), South Florida Water Management District (SFWMD), the Department of Environmental Protection (DEP), and the Miami-Dade Health Department. MANAGEMENT DURING CONSTRUCTION During the construction phase, RS&H will provide competent staff with design and construction expertise in the areas of construction administration and all construction- related activities including, shop drawing review, contractor claim management (change orders), supervision of the construction progress, final construction estimates, resolution of field and office issues (RFl's), and monitoring the contractor's QC plan.
