The firm's municipal team, led by Joseph M. Corradino as Principal-in-Charge, understands a city's perspective and serves as their advocate in interactions with other local, county and state agencies. Interfacing with governing agencies on behalf of municipalities has become a firm specialty. Corradino understands the workings of these agencies, and has been extremely successful in building partnerships and getting projects implemented and approved in a timely manner. Corradino has been integral in the planning and design of the retrofit of the City of Hialeah infrastructure system (drainage, water, sewer, streetscape, traffic calming, and growth management) over the past 15 years. The firm has designed underground infrastructure and streetscapes for cities across the nation, efficiently and effectively. Examples include the design of Miracle Mile in Coral Gables, the new Flagler Street in Downtown Miami, and the civil engineering at Mark Light Stadium at the University of Miami. The firm has also managed a myriad of similar projects, including general engineering services for Miami Beach, Coral Gables, Cutler Bay, Hialeah, Palmetto Bay, Miami Gardens, and Miami. In the last 18 months Corradino has worked for many Cities in the County, including Sunny Isles Beach as part of the Coastal Communities Transportation Master Plan.
